Barrel-Aged Black Manhattan
Fill your Penelope custom 5 gallon barrel with 6 bottles of Penelope Bourbon and 2 bottles of Amaro. It’s ready to serve right away, but as the batched liquid sits in the barrel, it’ll continually get better and better. To make the cocktail, you then combine Penelope Barrel Mix, bitters, and maraschino liqueur in a shaker with ice and stir well. Strain over large ice cube in rocks glass.
• 2.5 ounces of Penelope barrel mix
• 2 dashes of orange bitters
• .25 ounces of maraschino or Luxardo Liqueur (optional)
• Garnish with lemon peel and Luxardo cherry
When the barrel gets low, simply follow the above steps to refill your Penelope 5 gal barrel.
