Classic Mint Julep


  • 2 oz Penelope
  • 1.5 oz of Simple Syrup
  • Crushed ice
  • 5 mint leaves, lemons (optional), and strawberries (optional) as garnish
  • Water (or Ginger Beer)


Muddle mint leaves and simple syrup together.   Fill Mint Julep glass with crushed ice.  Add Penelope Bourbon and splash of water (or if you prefer Ginger beer you can use that).  Garnish with sprig of mint, lemon and strawberry (optional).
